Alcohol and drugs at work

At least one in ten people in working life has elevated, risky alcohol consumption. A growing share of adults have used illegal drugs in the past year, and the share of positive workplace urine tests has increased.

How do those figures affect your workplace? What happens if a colleague is under the influence at work? The risk of personal injury, damage to facilities and financial loss increases – and in the end the outside world’s view of your company may change too.

It is important that you have a stated alcohol and drug policy that every employee has read and accepted. If you do not have one today, we are happy to help.

To reduce the risk of use at work (or in leisure time that affects work) we recommend pre-employment tests and random testing. Contact us and we will help you take a complete approach to an alcohol- and drug-free workplace.
